Gauteng Province, South
Africa, founded by ex-SANDF
Operational Emergency
Care Practitioners (OECP).
SpecOpsMed was established
with the specific aim
of rendering a medical
service to clients requiring
medical support in alternative
or extreme conditions.
SpecOpsMed is in the process
of registering as a Security
Company with PSIRA to
ensure credibility and
legitimacy for you, the
client.

CAPABILITIES
AND RESOURCES
SpecOpsMed’s capabilities
are based on experienced,
highly trained and qualified
emergency medical personnel
with full resource backing.
Personnel – All
personnel are HPCSA registered
and where required, PSIRA
accredited. Qualifications
range from Intermediate
Life Support (ILS), Operational
Emergency Care Practitioners
(OECP), Advanced Life
Support (ALS) to Medical
Doctors. The basic medical
skills are supplemented
by Protection, Rescue
and other qualifications,
as per client requirement.
Equipment - Our personnel
are issued with all the
necessary equipment and
medication as required
by the task or situation.
Standard equipment includes
fully stocked medical
packs, ECG/AED Defibrillator,
Oxygen Cylinders and full
spinal Immobilization
equipment. All equipment
is task specific, thus
no ultra-reflective jump
bags where discretion
is required!
Vehicles – Specialized
ambulances, if required,
can be sourced as needed
for an assignment.
METHOD
OF OPERATIONS
SpecOpsMed supplies an
infrastructure to clients
that is user friendly
and easily incorporated
into a client’s
initial planning process.
This is accomplished by
means of a standardised
administration process
and SOP’s for the
planning, execution and
demobilization phases
of events.
These include:

Confidential Medical History
Questionnaire
Clear Quotation procedures
Preferential treatment
from a national EMS provider
to assist with the effective
evacuation of casualties
and/or patients.
SpecOpsMed strives to
be involved in the planning
process of all events
to ensure that personnel,
equipment and infrastructure
available in an area of
operations will ensure
maximum efficiency from
